The work

Each painting starts with a photograph. It ends with something entirely different.

I paint dogs, cats, rabbits, horses — if you love them, I want to paint them.

The medium

Why watercolour captures something other mediums can't.

Watercolour has a unique transparency and fluidity that allows light to pass through the pigment, creating luminous effects impossible to achieve with opaque mediums. The way water and pigment interact on paper is unpredictable, lending each piece an organic quality.

This spontaneity requires the artist to embrace imperfection and work with the medium rather than against it. The result is artwork that feels alive, capturing fleeting moments with a softness and depth that resonates emotionally.

The beauty of watercolour lies in its ability to capture the ephemeral—the way light dances on water, the subtle shift of a shadow, the delicate bloom of a flower.

Why my watercolour captures something other mediums can't

What makes my portraits different.

Personality first, likeness second

A good portrait looks like your pet. A great one makes you feel like they just walked into the room.

Hand-painted, every single time

No prints, no digital shortcuts. Every portrait is painted by hand on 300gsm watercolour paper.

I study your reference before I paint

The way they hold their ears. The look they give you before dinner. I look for the things only someone who loves them would notice.

Trusted by hundreds of pet owners

Every collection sells out. Not because of hype — because the portraits are exactly what people hoped for.

Questions

Things people usually ask.

Sharp, clear eyes in natural light work best. I need to be able to see the personality in the image — a photo that captures how they normally look at you is perfect. Avoid heavy flash.
Each collection has a set delivery window, usually 4–6 weeks from when bookings close. I'll confirm the timeline when your collection opens.
Yes. As long as the image is clear enough to capture your pet's features and personality, I can work with it — even older or slightly grainy photos.
Absolutely. I've painted rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, birds, and more. If you love them, I want to paint them.
I share a preview before the portrait is finalised and welcome feedback. I want you to love it as much as I do.
Yes — I ship portraits worldwide. Shipping costs and timelines vary by location and will be confirmed at time of booking.
Portraits are carefully packaged and shipped separately from our keepsake collections. As each portrait is an original artwork, standard free shipping promotions do not apply.
The beginning of something

Before the portrait, there's the paw print.

Every keepsake journey starts somewhere. Our Inkless Paw Print Kits let you capture their print at home — and one day, it could feature in a portrait or piece of jewellery too.
