Custom Pet Portraits
Are you able to paint more than one pet in one artwork?
Sure can! I can paint two (and sometimes three) pets in one portrait. The price is adjusted as I treat each pet as its own individual portrait on the same piece.
How long does it take to complete an artwork?
Each painting takes around 2–3 weeks to complete, depending on the size and detail. Every portrait is hand-painted with care to capture your pet’s personality perfectly.
Do you have a wait time?
Yes — there’s often a short wait before I begin new portraits. I always keep my current availability updated on Instagram, so feel free to message me before ordering.
Do you create custom sizes?
Absolutely! If you have a specific frame or space in mind, get in touch and I’ll create a custom size to suit.
Can you paint other animals besides cats and dogs?
Definitely! I’ve painted birds, bunnies, horses, frogs — even cows. Every pet is welcome here.
Inkless Paw Print Kits
How do the Inkless Paw Print Kits work?
It’s simple: press, lift, reveal! Each kit includes a special non-toxic inkless pad and paper that captures every tiny detail of your pet’s paw — no mess, no stress.
Are they safe for pets?
Yes! The wipes are 100% non-toxic and completely safe for your furry (or scaly) friends.
What size should I get?
- Regular: perfect for cats and small dogs
- Large: great for medium-sized dogs
- Extra Large: best for big paws and chunky breeds
If you’re unsure, go one size up for extra space.
Do the gold and silver kits work the same way?
Yes! They’re the same easy-to-use formula but with a limited-edition metallic finish — perfect for gifting or keepsakes.
Orders & Shipping
Where are you based?
Everything is designed, packed, and shipped from my studio in Melbourne, Australia.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are usually packed within 2–4 business days. Australian orders arrive in around 5–10 business days, depending on your location. During promotional periods, our regular 2-4 day despatch timeframe may not apply during busy sale periods. Despatch may take up to 14 business days during high-volume times
Selecting Express Post at checkout means your parcel will be dispatched with Australia Post's Express Post service and will speed up your parcel's transit time, but will not affect handling and despatch times
Do you post overseas?
Yes! 🌍 If you’re outside of Australia and wanting a custom portrait or product, simply message me and I’ll guide you through it.
Please note: shipping to the United States is currently paused due to tariff changes. I’ll update this as soon as posting resumes.
Can I track my order?
Yes! You’ll receive a tracking link once your parcel is on its way so you can follow it from my studio to your doorstep.
What if my parcel hasn’t arrived yet?
If your tracking hasn’t updated for over a week, please email hello@annalisepaints.com and I’ll help chase it up for you.
Returns & Customer Care
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because most products are made to order, I don’t accept returns for change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out so I can make it right.
What if I made a mistake with my order?
No worries — email hello@annalisepaints.com as soon as possible. If it hasn’t shipped yet, I can fix it for you.

Who’s behind Annalise Paints?
Hi! I’m Annalise — a Melbourne-based artist and proud pet mum. I hand-paint custom pet portraits and create fun, pet-inspired products designed to celebrate the love between pets and their humans.
Where are your products made?
All portraits are painted in my Melbourne studio, with greeting cards printed locally on recycled paper and paw print kits carefully assembled by hand.
