Okay… this is one of those moments where I keep looking at the screen thinking, is this actually real?!
Annalise Paints has officially been featured in 7NEWS.
Seeing my little business, which started with me painting pets from home, being shared across Australia feels incredibly surreal.
The article shares the story behind Annalise Paints, my beautiful girl Lunar, how my Inkless Paw Print Kits came to be, my custom watercolour pet portraits and a very exciting next chapter for my artwork.

Where Annalise Paints really began
If you've been here for a while, you'll probably know that Lunar is a huge part of why Annalise Paints exists today.
When I lost her, I desperately wanted her paw print.
Unfortunately, the paw print kits my sister had ordered didn't arrive in time, so we ended up using traditional ink instead.
It was messy, stressful and definitely not how I imagined capturing something that would become so special to me.
That experience eventually led me to discovering inkless paw printing.
A way to capture every little detail of your pet's paw without their paw ever touching the ink.
And I knew straight away that this was something I wanted other pet parents to have too.
A little keepsake that means so much 🐾
What started as something I wish I'd had for Lunar has now become one of the most loved products at Annalise Paints.
My Inkless Paw Print Kits let you capture your pet's real paw print in seconds, without messy ink, paint or washing their paw afterwards.
It's such a tiny moment, but it gives you something you can keep forever.
Frame it, use it for a tattoo reference, turn it into jewellery or simply tuck it away somewhere safe.
And the best part?
You don't need to wait for a sad reason to do it.
I love seeing people capture their pet's paw prints while they're puppies, kittens, fully grown, grey around the face or simply because they're completely obsessed with them.
From paw prints to pet portraits 🎨
At the heart of everything I create is one simple thing.
Celebrating how ridiculously special our pets are to us.
My custom watercolour pet portraits are all individually painted by hand here in Melbourne from your favourite photographs.
Every little nose, wonky ear, marking and expression matters.
Because those are usually the things that make you look at the finished painting and immediately think:
"Yep. That's them."
Getting to paint animals that mean so much to their people is still one of the most special parts of what I do.

And somehow… my artwork is going to Times Square?!
This might still be the sentence I haven't completely wrapped my head around.
My pet portraits are heading to Times Square in New York City.
Something that started at my little desk in Melbourne is about to appear on the other side of the world.
WHAT?!
When I started Annalise Paints, I definitely wasn't sitting there thinking,
"One day my paintings are going to be shown in Times Square."
I just loved painting pets.
So having this milestone included in the 7NEWS feature feels pretty incredible.
Thank you for being part of Annalise Paints 🤍
The most exciting part about seeing Annalise Paints featured isn't just seeing my name in a publication.
It's seeing this little business and community we've created together being recognised.
Every portrait you've trusted me to paint.
Every paw print you've captured.
Every order you've placed.
Every Reel you've shared with a fellow crazy pet parent.
Every lovely message you've sent me.
All of it has helped Annalise Paints become what it is today.
And apparently… we're only just getting started. 🥹🐾
